Gentamicin Sulfate

Gentamicin Sulfate binds to subunit 30S of bacteria’s ribosomes to cause misreading and perturb protein synthesis in bacteria. This mechanism leads to the contaminant death.

Antimicrobial spectrum of Gentamicin Sulfate covers Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, mycoplasma. it is used to prevent bacterial contamination of cell cultures.

Gentamicin sulfate exists in solution at 10mg/ml and 50mg/ml.
