Chemically defined, Earle’s Balanced Salt Solutions provide an environment that will conserve the structural and physiological integrity of mammalian cells in vitro. Earle’s Balanced Salts Solutions (EBSS) are designed for short-term use in a CO2 environment.

Its formulation is with calcium and magnesium and 10X-concentrated. It contains no sodium bicarbonate.

Addition of sodium bicarbonate 7.5% solution (ref: L0680) : 29.3 ml/l
Addition of sodium bicarbonate powder (ref: P2060) : 2.2 g/l

The product is intended to be used in vitro, in laboratory only. Do not use it in therapy, human or veterinary applications.
