
RPMI 1640 was developed by Moore and his co-workers at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in 1966 for the growth of human leukemia cells in monolayer or suspension cultures.
RPMI Media are “multipurpose” enriched media providing extensive applications for a broad spectrum of mammalian cell lines, as Jurkat cell line, and hybridoma cells, including Human myeloma, Mouse hybridoma, Human leukocytes and B and T lymphocytes.

– with or without Phenol Red
– with or without Stable Glutamine
– with or without Folic Acid
