RPMI 1640 w/o L-Glutamine w/o Sodium Bicarbonate – P0870
RPMI-1640 medium was developed by Moore and colleagues at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in 1966 for the growth of human leukemic cells in monolayer or suspension.
RPMI-1640 medium is a multipurpose medium with many applications for a wide range of mammalian cell lines, such as the Jurkat cell line, hybridoma cells, human myeloma, mouse hybridoma, human leukocytes, and B and T lymphocytes.
Its formulation contains no L-Glutamine and sodium bicarbonate.

Formulation without sodium bicarbonate and L-Glutamine, with Phenol Red
Glucose concentration : 2g/L
To supplement with L-Glutamine,
Addition of L-Glutamine 100X, 200mM solution (ref: X0550) : 10.25 ml/l
Addition of L-Glutamine powder (ref: P1031) : 0.3 g/l
To supplement with sodium bicarbonate,
Addition of sodium bicarbonate 7.5% solution (ref: L0680) : 26.7ml/l
Addition of sodium bicarbonate powder (ref: P2060) : 2 g/l
